37. Finnish Shepherd
This is an extremely active breed. Whether guarding loved ones or searching for tree roots, these dogs are intelligent and full of energy. They are gentle giants that can weigh up to 66 pounds with training. Without proper socialization, it can be challenging for a Lapponian Shepherd to adjust to home life. They just need the right person to calm them. They may obey their owner’s commands—or those of an intruder.
