8. Duvet vs. pillow

Pillows collect oils, hair, and dirt, becoming breeding grounds for fungi and dust mites. Clean pillows every three months, especially if using protective covers, which should be washed monthly. Duvets, protected by covers and less exposed to skin, require washing about every six months. This keeps them fresh while preserving quality.
