The third-tallest statue in Japan is the Dai Kannon statue, sometimes referred to as Hokkaido Kannon. 1989 saw its construction.
9.80 m Awazi Kannon
The most amazing statue is arguably found in Japan, and it is dedicated to a real estate agent rather than a god or monarch. This person is Awazi Kannon from the Okuti tribe, who worked in real estate and owned the home the statue is erected on. Following the owner's passing, the government acquired ownership of the statue and made the decision to demolish the building by 2022.
